How It Works

The stored heated water never leaves the tank. Potable water at regulated mains pressure passes through purpose-made 316L stainless steel heat exchangers suspended within the hot water body. Energy transfers from the stored water through the heat exchanger wall to the potable supply. This heated, sanitised water is then available for distribution throughout the building.

Vacuum tube technology delivers higher efficiency per square metre, particularly in lower ambient temperatures or where roof space is constrained. Ideal for hospital, hotel and multi-storey residential applications requiring maximum energy harvest.

Hybrid System Design: SIRAC designs integrated systems where solar thermal pre-heat works alongside heat pumps and backup plant. The solar array offsets primary generation load during peak sun hours, while the heat pump array handles overnight recovery and cloudy-day demand. This combined approach delivers the lowest possible lifecycle cost.
